About the Artist

Principle of Aurora Ltd, Bonnie Swenson Folkerts, is
a visual artist. She works primarily in watercolors
and acrylics, but also creates hand-painted furniture
and accessory pieces. Additional projects include
publishing and teaching.

Bonnie lives and works in Apple Valley, Minnesota with her husband, Dave,
two children in college, a dog and two cats.

We firmly believe in our responsibility to give back to the community at large. We do this through donation of our time, and by the contribution of a portion of our net profits to charities we support. These charities currently include:

- Literacy, a program that seeks to improve literacy at the elementary school level
- Arts Eduation, helping to make arts education available to our children
- WomenHeart, an organization that supports women and heart disease; the leading cause of death in women.
